The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dynamic Operations Coordinator who will play a critical role in scaling our operations, cultivating customer relationships, solving problems, and bringing XBoat’s cutting-edge technology to the rowing community.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Create and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering product demos, managing orders, facilitating onboarding, providing virtual and field support, and overseeing communication channels (email, social media, etc.).
- Business Operations: Develop and manage internal processes and systems to support scalable growth, including supply chain management, inventory control, order fulfillment, sales and support procedures, and coordination with suppliers and partners.
- Cross-Functional Problem-Solving: Collaborate with internal and external parties to address challenges quickly and effectively, ensuring smooth operations in a fast moving startup environment.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in operations, customer relationships, or cross-functional project management.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Outstanding written, verbal and visual communication abilities.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to tackle ambiguous problems.
- Technically savvy and eager to adopt new tools and systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Boston and travel as needed to support operational activities.
- Bonus: Rowing experience or a strong passion for the sport.
